The 5% discount at Target stores and Target.com will help frequent Target shoppers to save a considerable amount of money. The discount is available directly at checkout and also applies to every in-store Starbucks. You can stack your 5% REDcard savings with the Cartwheel app and Target Subscriptions savings. Another benefit is free shipping on most Target purchases. With the REDcard, you also get 30 extra days for returns. There is no annual fee.
The REDcard only applies to Target purchases, so this card is only for you if you are a frequent Target shopper. The REDcard also charges a hefty interest rate of 25.15% variable APR for purchases, so if you are likely to overspend, this card is not a good fit for you. There’s also no sign-up bonus.
How to Get the Target Red Credit Card
You must be at least 18 years old and have a U.S. address to apply. In order to apply, you will need your social security number and one of the following: driver’s license, state ID, or military ID. By applying for the Target Credit Card, you are providing your contact information to TD Bank USA, N.A. and Target Corporation for their use, including marketing.
